In a valley between the country hills, children settle in for a game of hardball on the farm. The bright red barn serves as their backdrop and stops half the balls from getting away. The little girl cracks one out; but it looks like her brother is too swift to let one get through, after all he’s the one with the golden glove. The pitcher seems intense all decked out in full uniform; he does realize this game is not official, right? The catcher’s knees are taking the brunt, all crunched over, with those hidden signals thrown in between, just hoping the ball gets there. It’s a beautiful day in the field, perfect for play and for work. The breeze brushes the farmer on his tractor and sweeps in to cool the players, hard at play.
