Clothes just hang around for the day.
Soak up the sun, drip off and stay.
Waiting to wear the fresh digs from the line.
Sitting in my robe, bare, with a tall glass of wine.
It’s calm where things move at a slower pace.
Not too many people or trails to trace.
There’s time to take for oneself in need,
Out here in the country, we always do indeed.
