Displayed in my home unframed.
This artwork captures the peace of a powerful transaction between the hummingbird and flower. The flower was made with all recycled pieces of paint then touches of paint were added for highlights and depth. The ruby throated hummingbird appears to be heading towards the flower. The splashes of colour represent floating petals and seeds picked up in the wind. A striking scene painted on a wide shaped canvas to further stand out. A sky blue background: with greenery in the distance. The flower really pops off the canvas, about 2″ off at the highest point.
